The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) is a group of medical and public health experts that develops recommendations for vaccine use in the U.S.
- Evidence Review: GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluation) framework used
- Working Groups: Topic-specific subgroups review data
- Public Meetings: Held 3 times/year, open to public
- Vote: Recommendations passed by majority vote
- CDC Adoption: Recommendations published in MMWR
