Information We Collect
What you provide to us
When you use our contact form, we collect your name and email address solely to respond to your inquiry. This information is not stored beyond what is needed to reply to you and is never shared with third parties. We do not require you to create an account to access any content on this site.
What we collect automatically
We collect basic server logs including browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. These are used for security and site maintenance only and are not linked to individual users.
Analytics
If you choose to opt in, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous, aggregated data about how visitors use this site — such as which pages are most visited, how long visitors stay, and what devices they use. Analytics cookies are OFF by default. You must actively opt in using the cookie banner on this site. All data is anonymised. IP addresses are anonymised by default in GA4. No personally identifiable information is ever collected through analytics.
Cookies
We use two categories of cookies:
Essential cookies (always active)
These cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled. They include security cookies, session management, and basic functionality. They do not collect personal information. The platform may also set a __cf_bm cookie (Cloudflare Bot Management) for security and load balancing purposes. This is a strictly necessary cookie and does not require consent.
Performance cookies (opt-in — off by default)
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. These cookies collect anonymous, aggregated data only. No personally identifiable information is collected. You must actively opt in to enable these cookies. You can change your preference at any time using the Cookie Settings button at the bottom left of any page.
For transparency, we use the following browser localStorage keys: vf_cookie_consent_v1 (stores your cookie preferences) and vf_analytics_consent (stores your analytics consent state). These are Essential storage items required for the consent system to function.
We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for commercial purposes.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
- Respond to your contact form submissions
- Understand which content is most useful to visitors so we can improve it (only if you have opted in to analytics)
- Maintain site security and performance
- Diagnose and fix technical issues
We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or any commercial purpose.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for any commercial purpose — ever.
The only third-party service we use that processes visitor data is Google Analytics, and only when you have opted in. Google Analytics processes anonymous, aggregated usage data on our behalf. We have configured GA4 to:
- Anonymise all IP addresses
- Disable data sharing with Google's advertising products
- Disable benchmarking and modelling data sharing
- Enable only technical support data sharing
For information on how Google handles analytics data, see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Analytics data
Retained in Google Analytics for 14 months (GA4 default), after which it is automatically deleted. Only collected if you have opted in.
